Looks likes it's gonna be a really cute episode love the first pic with castle holding Becketts hand hopefully there not pictures that we won't c in the episode like the stills for till death do us part.

Don't get too excited guys. These are promi stills. These scenes could hit the cutting room floor and never air.
ReplyDeleteBesides, it looks to me like Rick may be trying to charm her into keeping the dog. They can always edit the hand-holding scene out and still have the same effect with Castle just being charming and having Beckett cave like she normally does when he lays the charm on her.
I hope it stays in, but I don't think we'll get a "moment" shared over it.
My money is still on the two parter and after that things begin to unravel with the secrets and the feelings attached to them. I can't wait for Feb sweeps!

ReplyDeleteI guess if you think Nathan's role on the show can be described as "standing around looking stupid" you're not gonna win any awards yourself in the near future (or ever). Gosh, what's with all these stanatics needing to poke and puke on Nathan at every turn one way or another? When you gonna learn that it doesn't add any points to Stana, diminishing her co-star? It just looks unpleasant with a jealous/envious aftertaste and even makes Stana look worse.

Love the episode stills the next ones to come out are the noir episode stills I think so that will be good to have a little look at what they all look like in their outfits
ReplyDeleteI used to be a part of XF fandom back in the day and I have to say this sh*t reminds me of epic Duchovny/Anderson fandom fights a great deal. Which is sad coz these guys on Castle are a lot nicer and a lot less Hollywood than anyone from X-files. Why some fans need to stir trouble and controversy even when there's literally nothing to get so upset about - this I will never understand.
ReplyDeleteNathan is an established actor with several career highlights and brilliant rep in and outside the business, and he's a GOOD actor. Stana is a relative new-comer, she had some juicy guest spots but failed to attract attention till Castle, and she's a GOOD actress. Nathan is a lovable, funny, well-mannered charmer with lots of friends, Stana is an introvert with artistic inclinations whose private life is as private as can be. Nathan managed to score some classic/cult roles and attract love, devotion and respect of several fandoms. Stana only has one fandom, but she is so nice and involved with this fandom that she is loved like a goddess (like Nathan is loved by geeks). Now tell me, is it so wrong than Nathan might be a bit more famous and popular than Stana, and is it really so unfair? For both of them Castle is their biggest success, but let's not ignore facts here. Nathan's bigger recognition and fandom don't make him a douche, but a talented guy with several classic roles. Stana's lesser recognition doesn't make her "irrelevant", but a new-comer with bright future. Nathan's charming ways and class clown behavior don't mean he's a sleazebag (unless he hides bodies of those who he pissed off and only lets out people who can't shut up about his awesomeness). Stana keeping a low profile doesn't mean that she's a dimwit, or a bitch, or a secret Jack The Ripper. These guys are good actors on a popular show, a team. They are also human beings with their own quirks and hobbies, about whom nobody ever said a bad word. Of those who met/worked with them I mean. Because some fans are always ready to badmouth and judge those same people who entertain them. Cuz they know better, obviously.

DeleteWhy can't everyone just be happy for them. I have read a number of slanders by brown coats about how Stana is weird because she doesn't display her personal life, about how she is a freak, and about how she is a horrible person on set and apparently no one likes her, and Nathan has used some really foul language on her, but it's justified because he is a good guy and if he says that to someone then that means that person is terrible and deserve it. The most recent rumour was on how Stana thinks she is so beautiful and wants men's attention and Nathan is not bothered so they don't like each other. As a Nathan fan, reading that was downright embarrassing...even Terri miller, Andrew Marlowe's wife had to come out on twitter and say its not true. Now I don't know if this a brown coat fan spreading this rumour or just some random crazy lunatic but obviously this person is obsessed with Nathan and feels the need to slander Stana. If I were Nathan, I would be humiliated to have my fans behave like that, and he probably was.
I mean seriously how childish are some fans.
And some Stana fans feel Nathan is not good enough to win the award and question why he gets attention. He is a good actor and he gets attention because he has been around for so long. Albeit I never heard of him before castle but I know he was acting long before that. And he deserves recognition for his work as does Stana. Her time will come.
Neither Nathan nor Stana ever comment anything about these rumors that circulate about them because I think they just don't care. People will say what they want and it's a waste of time trying to proof them wrong. They are friends, colleagues and are on a great show together.
To all those brown oats and stanatics, please bear in mind, both of their successes is because of their work together. Both were acting before but were never recognized. A contributing factor to their success is each other, they will probably not be as famous if they' werent together on castle, they make great team, because of the great chemistry and that's why we tune in.
I don't get it why can't browncoats be Stana fans and stanatics be Nathan fans. I love both of them and I know without either of them I wouldn't watch the show. They are both lovely people and are not in competition. They probably laugh at some of their crazy fans.
As for people's choice, Stana was so happy about Nathans win and castles win, so of you guys are true Stana fans, you will respect that and be happy too.

At anon 9.51, totally agree. I am a huge Nathan fan and was really sad that one of my fellow fans spread these rumors about Stana. It makes us look bad, I know that people know not all Nathan fans are like that, few are, but it still wasn't nice to read. And worse it even makes Nathan look bad, especially the one where it was said that he used really bad language on her because she is horrible and she deserved it. I don't know Nathan personally but I am sure he isn't that type of person. And just to be clear, no one deserves to be called names. And around that time, there were also interviews going on and Nathan and Stana looked genuinely like friends without all the drama. So we know it's all rumors.
DeleteI honestly wish both groups would just like merge and become one, because that's how I see it. I love both of them. And just because Stana is a very private person about her life doesn't make her weird. Kate Beckett is very private too but no one says anything. I guess Stana is like Beckett in some ways. And personally I like that she isn't all hollywoody and stays away from drama. It's refreshing to see actresses like that now days.
So if you guys out there don't like Nathan or Stana for whatever reason, thats your opinion but don't go telling stuff that you can't possibly know for a fact. That's rumors. And it's mean and childish. These blogs are for the show and the characters not the actors and their personal lives. So if you have something to complain about castle and Beckett or any others then fine, complain. But leave Nathan and Stanas personal life out of it. It's none of our business.
I think this "merge" as you call it, could only happen if both equally get recognition for their work. So if maybe Castle wins in best Drama an Emmy -Award, which is somewhat unlikely to occure, this grouping might stop. But maybe time will change also our thinking, who knows?
